Analise

alas, i am one of those people that enjoy medieval reenactment. I don't go really all-out or anything, but it's nice to get away from today's mundane world every once in a while ^_^

My persona's full name is Analise Carolyn Shreiber Vassuer. She was born around the 1330's or so in Germany, but she married a Frenchman. Hence the name.

This is her first costume, and i'm quite proud of it because i've only made one other nice dress for myself, and the other one got its shape from the fabric more than my craftsmanship. It's also the first dress i've had that's not green. I had another persona a couple years ago but she was dirt-poor Irish peasant, so the pretty dresses were kind of out of her league lol

I did actually use a period picture as a reference, but i took a few liberties. i did not use a pattern. I have used patterns twice (but i've made many dresses) and the ones i use patterns with always are messed up somehow.
