Ah, Deviantart, you are like an old friend that appears out of nowhere when I've been so busy with new things. You are always here waiting to welcome me back! I can trace the end of my childhood and the beginning of my adult self here. I love you for that. Crazy goings-on... Turns out I get panic attacks. I have many symptoms of PTSD. A couple years after my relationship with that guy ended (from high school, I don't know if you all recall) from which I got the gift of my daughter, I was sitting in on a seminar on domestic violence and was inwardly freaking out. They were describing that relationship. I had always told myself it wasn't abuse because he had never hit me. I had always told myself it wasn't rape because I didn't know that rape could occur in a consensual relationship. I had told myself it wasn't rape because I could have fought more and I didn't scream for help. Yeah. So I have

I have to say, I am so backed up with art that I need to look at on here and comments and news and such, I don't really know that I will be able to visit all of it. I want to say thank you to each and ever one of you who have seen my work and commented and fav'd it. I've had a very eventful summer, and I imagine things are not going to slow down now that school is back in session. I am still plugging way at my education, no worries there. I think I am about half-way through, lol. Anyway, I am now married (yay!) and I do have a few new things to put up in my gallery.
